Description
101st softball bat of the WWII and memorabilia if the liberation of Belgium.
Image of diverse pins, card openers and the like, produced to commemorate the liberation of Belgium in the Second World War, surrounding an old and weathered Hillerich & Bradsby hickory softball bat that belonged to the men of the 101st.
The men would probably love this bat, because it would, by the time they reached Bastogne, have turned into so much more. Whenever they could bring out that nailed old bat it would mean they were safe, they could rest. They had found haven for a while.
A meaningful present in so many ways.
