The relentless wind that courses the flatlands of the desert of the Royal Bardenas in Navarre uncovers amazing shapes and patterns out of the layers of deposit created when all the area was a shallow sea in prehistoric times.
The vegetation takes its chances to blossom at the minimum presence of humidity and an ephemeral yellow blanket covers the land with fleeting beauty.
