Bison, horse and other animals, closer. Narrow version created to meet a customer's personal request.
The main panel in Marsoulas cave is a rich polychromy of various animals intercrossed by carvings of many others. Bison, horses, antelope, deer... a view into the magical and spiritual world of our ancestors. This part of the panel, which I have named after the bison and horse taking the center, is crammed with engravings and paintings of other animals and signs you can find by click-zooming on the image. There is a partially painted and partially engraved horse on the left, an antelope shows its antlers and looks at us from behind the back of the bison... Simply breathtaking.
Marsoulas cave is not as famous as Chauvet, Lascaux, Niaux or Altamira, but is also full of amazing paintings like this one.
The main panel is 13,000 years old.

Hi there, Born in '72 and shooting pictures since '83, I particularly enjoy creating wide panoramic compositions, HDRs, HDR Panoramas... But not just... Here you will find landscapes and cityscapes, ancient ruins and modern buildings, moons and seas, planes and boats, guns and flowers, animals and machines, forests and deserts, vanguard and prehistory, digital and film, color and black & white, graves and newborns, temples, trenches, palaces, castles, tanks, churches, bunkers... However, they have some things in common: they are meaningful images, I believe them all to be beautiful, and they are for the most part unique. Come in and judge for yourself. W. W. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY PICTURE TO YOUR PERSONAL LIKING AND MAKE IT...
