Artist's Description
Daisies are not flowers.
They are actually groups of tiny yellow flowers. Even their petals are each a separate white one.
Asteraceae or Compositae (commonly referred to as the aster, daisy, or sunflower family) is the name of a family of flowering plants. The main feature of the family is the composite flower type, a special type of inflorescence, in which anything from a small cluster to hundreds or sometimes thousands of flowers are grouped together to form a single flower-like structure.
These tiny flowers are differentiated into ray and disk flowers, unique to this family. The disk flowers are in the center and the corolla is fused into a tube. Ray flowers are on the periphery and the corolla has one large lobe (the so-called "petals" of a daisy are individual ray flowers).
There is Magic hidden in plain sight everywhere.
Take Nothing for Granted

About Weston Westmoreland
Hi there, Born in '72 and shooting pictures since '83, I particularly enjoy creating wide panoramic compositions, HDRs, HDR Panoramas... But not just... Here you will find landscapes and cityscapes, ancient ruins and modern buildings, moons and seas, planes and boats, guns and flowers, animals and machines, forests and deserts, vanguard and prehistory, digital and film, color and black & white, graves and newborns, temples, trenches, palaces, castles, tanks, churches, bunkers... However, they have some things in common: they are meaningful images, I believe them all to be beautiful, and they are for the most part unique. Come in and judge for yourself. W. W. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY PICTURE TO YOUR PERSONAL LIKING AND MAKE IT...
