The Alhambra and the Generalife from the Albaicin, with the white Sierra Nevada behind.
A place of breathtaking beauty, preserved by the wisdom of a Sultan who was later considered a coward for surrendering the fortress before it was utterly destroyed in a fight he could not possibly win. A man who preserved such treasure for mankind should be remembered with more respect.
