Detail view of the neo-Gothic modernist statue of Saint George slaying the Dragon above the main gate of the House Botines (casa Botines) in Leon, Spain, one of the only three buildings Antoni Gaudi built outside Catalonia.
The Casa Botines was designed to be a residential building, and the neo-Gothic style payed homage to the medieval character of the city of Leon. Built in clear limestone and with a dark slate roof, the House Botines is a beauty to observe and yet another reason not to miss the city of Leon.
