Description
A young foal stares curious and safe while its mother grazes unconcerned.
There are some twenty horses grazing free around the summits where I trail run and probably an equal number of foals this summer. They are not scared of my presence or my dog's anymore and they rarely raise their heads when we run by among them.
While I was taking this picture one day I went for a walk, other horses gathered around and I ended up fondling one, which I usually didn't. Wonderful creatures I love to meet.
