Rory Gallagher Corner, Dublin.
Rory Gallagher Corner is located at the intersection of Essex Street East and the North West Corner of Meeting House Square in Temple Bar.
The corner was dedicated to Rory Gallagher on May 19, 2006. A bronze replica of Rory's 1961 Stratocaster electric guitar was affixed under the sign. To prevent any attempt at theft, the sculpture is placed more than 4 meters high.
Although he guitar is a bronze sculpture, the strings belonged to an actual electric guitar and they have shredded during the years in the open.
