Artist's Description

The Good the Bad and the Ugly: Sad Hill Cemetery carved grave. Burgos, Spain.

One of the graves in the recovered and restored grounds of Sad Hill Cemetery, the fictional round graveyard where the final duel of The Good, The Bad and the Ugly takes place.

The graveyard was created by the Spanish army in two days for the filming of Sergio Leone's famous Spaghetti Western in 1966. 50 years later, fans from different places restored 1000 of the original 5000 grave and removed the wild grass from the central circular courtyard.

Ennio Morricone would compose his famous piece "The Ecstasy of Gold" for these last minutes of this magnificent saga that shot Clint Eastwood into stardom.

About Weston Westmoreland

Weston Westmoreland

Hi there, Born in '72 and shooting pictures since '83, I particularly enjoy creating wide panoramic compositions, HDRs, HDR Panoramas... But not just... Here you will find landscapes and cityscapes, ancient ruins and modern buildings, moons and seas, planes and boats, guns and flowers, animals and machines, forests and deserts, vanguard and prehistory, digital and film, color and black & white, graves and newborns, temples, trenches, palaces, castles, tanks, churches, bunkers... However, they have some things in common: they are meaningful images, I believe them all to be beautiful, and they are for the most part unique. Come in and judge for yourself. W. W. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY PICTURE TO YOUR PERSONAL LIKING AND MAKE IT...
