Description
La Concha Bay in San Sebastian, Spain.
Panoramic view of the bay of La Concha, the Shell, in San Sebastian, usually counted among the top ten beaches in the world. From Chillida's sculpture the Comb of the Wind on the left, to the old casino once visited by Mata Hari on the right, this breathtaking beach was the chosen summer destiny of international royalty for over a century and a half.
Nowadays, San Sebastian stands as the city with the highest concentration of Michelin stars per inhabitant in the whole world, even before Paris, boasting three 3-Michelin-Star restaurants.
Not one driving hour away from the Guggenheim-Bilbao Museum, San Sebastian is the second city in size in the Basque Country, a beautiful land to visit.
