Whoever offers his or her life in the service of the country earns the stripes by default.

These dog tags belonged to my brother in law, who would wear them for several years, including the Gulf War. Name and SS number have been changed. One of my first pictures ever. HD Scan of a 35 mm BW ISO 400 film (Ilford HP-5 Plus) shot in 1988-89.
