Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

The Colosseum of ancient Rome.

Named after a huge statue of Nero that was in the center of the gardens that occupied that space before it was built, the Colosseum is the main exponent of the contradictions of the Roman Empire. So civilized and exquisite, yet so raw and barbaric. It never ceases to mesmerize me.

It came to happen that, centuries after the empire fell and all these grand buildings were forsaken, the Colosseum became an exotic botanic garden of sorts, due to all the seeds that the wild animals killed there had brought with them.

The marble that covered the Colosseum ended covering Saint Peters Basilica, and this magnificent amphitheater was preserved because it became a church.

About Weston Westmoreland

Weston Westmoreland

Hi there, Born in '72 and shooting pictures since '83, I particularly enjoy creating wide panoramic compositions, HDRs, HDR Panoramas... But not just... Here you will find landscapes and cityscapes, ancient ruins and modern buildings, moons and seas, planes and boats, guns and flowers, animals and machines, forests and deserts, vanguard and prehistory, digital and film, color and black & white, graves and newborns, temples, trenches, palaces, castles, tanks, churches, bunkers... However, they have some things in common: they are meaningful images, I believe them all to be beautiful, and they are for the most part unique. Come in and judge for yourself. W. W. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY PICTURE TO YOUR PERSONAL LIKING AND MAKE IT...
