Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Painting of a red cave Hyena and Panther in the Chamber of the Bear Hollows, in Chauvet cave, France. This painting of a panther is unique among the cave paintings so far discovered in Europe. The figures were painted with red ocher. It never ceases to amaze me the way these people could depict animals so accurately using just a few strokes.
The Paintings in Chauvet are in many cases over 30,000 years old and their discovery ended with the idea that cave painting had evolved from basic drawings to its technical peak in the Magdalenian era, some 15,000 years ago, as seen in Altamira, Lascaux, Niaux or Ekain.
The paintings in Chauvet are for the most part monochrome and feature many different and unusual animals, like lions, hyenas, panthers, bears, and some more usual like horses, aurochs, rhinoceros or mammoth, all of them of extraordinary artistry.
