Arles streets and arena. Vintage version.

Arles was an important city of the Roman empire as the impressive arena and theater show. I stopped there for a night on my way back from Florence and revisited this wonderful medieval city by the Rhone river.

I love the way the old Roman circus has been preserved, and the way it merges with the medieval old town. I was lucky to catch this wonderful sunset light.


There is a version of this image without the texture, but I personally like this one much better.
