Stargazers do not usually like a full moon because it shows no shadows on itself, and therefore appears flat, and because it makes it harder or outright impossible to see any of the less luminous wonders hidden in deep space.

However, the full moon has an undeniable magic of its own and strongly affects the behavior of animals, humans and the seas themselves. We probably ignore the moon the rest of the month, but one cannot help to stop and stare at a full moon rising.
