Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Detail of a glazed brick frieze of the Palace of Darius the Great in Suse, one of the capitals of the Achaemenid Empire, depicting a Persian warrior. The frieze was probably inspired by the brick friezes of Babylon, although the technique is different. That may be a legacy from the Middle Elamite Period, which saw the appearance of decoration in glazed siliceous brick.
The warrior in the frieze is believed to be one of The Immortals, also known as the Persian Immortals. This name given by Herodotus to an elite heavily-armed infantry queued unit of 10,000 soldiers in the army of the Achaemenid Empire. This force also conformed the Imperial Guard. Herodotus describes the 'Immortals' as a heavy infantry professional corps constantly kept at a strength of exactly 10,000 men.
