Opera house muse number 2, Avignon, France. Vintage version.
I stopped for a night in Avignon and took the time to quickly revisit this beautiful walled city, that once was the official residence of a schismatic Pope. The Opera House, built on the 19th century, is maybe not so well known as the Pope's fortress palace. However I found it particularly beautiful.
Of the many sculptures and ornaments which dress its main facade, I liked the muses best. This is the second one.
