Built around 1350 AD, the Alhambra is one of the most spectacular palaces in the whole world, taken directly from the Arabian Nights.
Should you turn around, you would see the famous fountain of the court of the lions not ten yards away.
A place of breathtaking beauty, preserved by the wisdom of a Sultan who was later considered a coward for surrendering the fortress before it was utterly destroyed in a fight he could not possibly win. A man who preserved such treasure for mankind should be remembered with more respect.
