Description
World War II Jeep. Canvas background.
One of the most iconic vehicles of World War II.
The Willys MB and the Ford GPW, commonly known as Jeep, are off-road capable, light, military utility vehicles that were manufactured during World War II, from 1941 to 1945, for the Allied forces.
The jeep was the primary light wheeled transport vehicle of the Allies in World War II, as well as the postwar period. President Eisenhower once called it, "one of three decisive weapons the U.S. had during WWII."
It was also the world's first mass-produced four-wheel drive car, manufactured in six-figure numbers.
